PSE recognizes One of the Stock Market industrys Great Pillars

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) Board recently honored Mr. Irving I. Ackerman at a luncheon prior to its regular meeting at the Ayala Boardroom. Mr. Ackerman was cited for his contributions to the development and growth of the Exchange. He is among the founding fathers of the Makati Stock Exchange and also served as Governor of the PSE from 1995 to 1996. Mr. Ackerman’s advocacy to protect investors found fruition in the Securities Investors Protection Fund which was created in 1979. Present during the lunch were (standing, left to right) Atty. Roy M.
